  • Prepare rice in rice cooker or pot if you do not already have cooked rice ready.
    • 2 cup rice (360 g)
  • Combine oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce and brown sugar to make the sauce.
    • 2 tbsp oyster sauce (36 g)
    • 1 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce (8 g)
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce (16 g)
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar (24 g)
    • 2 tbsp fish sauce (28 g)

  • In a pan on high, heat neutral oil and cook the ground beef, seasoning with salt and white pepper until it has a golden brown crisp.
    • 1 tbsp neutral oil (14 g)
    • 1 lb ground beef (454 g)
    • 1/2 tsp salt (3 g)
    • 1/4 tsp white pepper (1 g)
  • Add the garlic, red thai chili, and the sauce made earlier. Cook for a few more minutes.
    • 4 clove garlic, minced (12 g)
    • 4 red thai chilis, chopped (8 g)
  • Add basil and cook until wilted.
    • 1 1/2 cup basil (21 g)
      (holy basil is preferred, but any basil works too)
  • Serve your stir fry over rice and enjoy!
    • (Optional) Fry an egg until crispy on and serve over rice.
