  • Thinly slice your beef and add salt, cornstarch, and baking soda. Set aside.
    • 1 lb steak, thinly sliced (454 g)
    • 1 pinch salt (0.40 g)
    • 1/3 cup cornstarch (43 g)
    • 1 tsp baking soda (4.60 g)
  • Combine brown sugar, light soy sauce, and broth in a bowl.
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar (67 g)
    • 1/4 cup light soy sauce (70 g)
    • 1/4 cup beef broth (60 g)
      (or water)
  • Fry beef till golden brown and set aside.
    • Mix equal parts water and cornstarch to make a cornstarch slurry. Add the sauce mixture and the cornstarch slurry to the pan.
      • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch (4.50 g)
      • 1/2 tbsp water (7.50 g)
    • Stir the sauce mixture until it thickens.
      • Add beef, chili, and green beans to sauce and mix.
        • 3 whole thai chili, sliced (6 g)
