Hwachae

Hwachae — Korean Fruit Punch

A perfect dessert for the summer, but even more perfect if it's 3am and you're severely dehydrated. Hwachae (화채) is a traditional Korean punch made primarily from a mix of fruits and a sweetened beverage. The name "hwachae" is derived from two Korean words: "hwa" (flower) and "chae" (vegetable or fruit). It’s a popular treat, especially during the summer months, because of its refreshing and sweet flavors. Recently, the internet's most popular version uses about equal parts strawberry milk and Sprite, but feel free to adjust the ratios to suit your taste!
