- Cut the stem-ends of green beans off, then cut into 2 inch pieces. Add to a colander, wash thoroughly, and pat dry.
- 0.50 lb green beans, cut into 2 inch pieces (225 g)
- Finely mince garlic.
- 5 clove garlic, finely minced (15 g)
- Heat oil in a small pot or wok to 375F.

- Add a splash of oil to a wok or frying pan, and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

- Flash fry dry green beans in oil for 10 to 15 seconds or until the skin has blistered. Remove the green beans from the oil, and immediately add to the pan with minced garlic. Season to taste with salt and MSG. Toss and mix well, ensuring that all the green beans are coated in the garlic oil and seasonings.
