  • Marinate the steak with the sauce ingredients for 15 minutes.
    • 1 lb steak (453 g)

  • While that is marinating, make the sauce by toasting the rice in a dry pan on medium heat until golden brown.

  • Heat a pan with oil on medium-high heat until shimmering.
    • Sear the steak for 30 seconds on each side, making sure to continuously flip until it forms a nice crust.
      • Let it cook in a 200ºF (93ºC) oven until it reaches your desired doneness.
        • Let it rest for 10 minutes, then serve with white cabbage and the sauce.
